My journey in the mental health field began in 2004, when I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I went on to gain experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, including community mental health, day treatment programs, and Children's Hospital.
In 2011, I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver, with an emphasis in Family Therapy and Interpersonal Trauma Studies.
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, including 12 years in private practice, I've had the opportunity to work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS), and Certified EMDR Therapist. While I specialize in trauma and EMDR therapy, I also enjoy helping people work through anxiety, depression, grief, women's issues, relationship difficulties, and life's transitions.

I believe that meaningful change begins with a trusting relationship between therapist and client. Therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself, speaking openly, and exploring life's challenges without judgment or pressure.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe in meeting you where you are, understanding your individual experiences, and working together to develop tools and strategies that support your goals.
Whether you're processing difficult experiences, navigating a challenging time, or simply looking to better understand yourself, my goal is to help you feel supported and empowered as you move forward.
And most importantly, I believe it's never too late to turn over a new leaf.
